He has expertise in not just Italian but continental, Mexican, South American, Indian and Indo Pacific food. His stint on the very plush ‘Royal Caribbean International Cruise Liner’, as a Chef of the popular Italian restaurant ‘Portofino’ has given him immense confidence to work with Italian ingredients.

Food & Beverage: James CampbellJames is a familiar and welcoming face at the Ramada, having managed the Oval Bar at the Ramada for the last 3 years. James has managed busy bars in the city for a number of years but made the move over to the “civilised world of the hotel industry to coincide with the smoking ban! It’s a major coup for us to be the only Italian this side of Canary Wharf. The authenticity and home-cooked style of the menu brings a little piece of Italy to Docklands” The Oval Bar menu which offers traditional high-end pub grub can position itself easily alongside the Italian menu, “we are catering for everyone’s palette”.
